In a series of Instagram posts this weekend, 50 Cent — a longtime nemesis of Combs — responded to the report concerning Combs’ pardon posturing in the event of a guilty verdict. “[Combs] said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. I’m gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy,” the rapper wrote. “Donald doesn’t take well to disrespect, and doesn’t forget who chooses to go against him. While working tirelessly to make America great again there is no room for distraction. He would consider pardoning anyone who was being mistreated not Puffy Daddy.” Popular on Rolling Stone During a press conference Friday, Trump was asked whether a Combs pardon has been discussed within the White House. “Nobody’s asked. I know people are thinking about it. People have been very close to asking,” Trump — who earlier in the week pardoned NBA YoungBoy — said. “I would certainly look at the facts. If I think somebody is mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact on me.” Trending Stories Trump Spreads Bizarre Conspiracy Theory That Biden Was Executed and Replaced by a Robot Clone The Seven Ugliest Provisions in Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ Joni Ernst Issues Non-Apology for Joke About People Dying Due to GOP Medicaid Cuts How a Radical Ideology Infected the Supreme Court and Poisoned the Country Trump added of Combs, “I haven’t seen him, I haven’t spoken to him in years. He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics that relationship busted up. From what I read. I don’t know, he didn’t tell me that. But I read some little bit nasty statements in the paper all of a sudden.” After 50 Cent’s comments about the possible pardon spread online, some headlines misquoted the “In Da Club” rapper and his plans to “nuke” the pardon. “I didn’t say I would Nuke anything, I simply said I will make sure Trump is aware,” 50 Cent clarified Sunday.
