In his collegiate years at Appalachian State from 2017 to 2021, Taylor showcased his prowess on the field, accumulating an impressive record of 137 total tackles, including 46 tackles for a loss. His ability to disrupt plays led to an astonishing 26.5 sacks during his college career. This remarkable performance earned him multiple accolades, including First-Team All-Sun Belt honors for three consecutive seasons.

Joining Taylor is another formidable force in defensive lineman Kemoko Turay. Standing at six-foot-five and weighing in at 248 pounds, Turay’s football journey has been nothing short of eventful. Turay’s professional career took off when he was selected by Indianapolis in round two of the 2018 NFL Draft as the 52nd overall pick. Over four seasons, he showcased his skills in 38 games, amassing a total of 33 tackles along with an impressive tally of twelve sacks and one fumble recovery.

After parting ways with Indianapolis, Turay continued to make waves within different NFL teams like San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons. His standout performances were rooted in his college days at Rutgers University from 2014 to 2017 where he left a lasting impact on opponents with his knack for making crucial plays on defense.

The addition of these two talented players underscores BC Lions’ commitment to strengthening their defense for upcoming challenges on the field.
