Besides access to bulk products, discounted furniture and exclusive items, wholesale retailer Costco also offers travel perks . This may come as a surprise to some, especially new and potential Costco members, but for others, this might have been a big part of why they joined. But as great as the Costco Travel perks are, change has arrived, and customers are bummed to say the least. For the longest time, all Costco members could receive discounts on rental cars, cruises, vacation packages, hotels, theme parks and more. But recently, a discount to Disneyland Resort was suspended without warning or explanation. This is what we know per Costco’s website: “Costco Travel is not accepting new reservations to the Disneyland Resort. Guests with existing packages through 2025 can still modify their reservations by calling (877) 849-2730.” This is also what is said when you call the Costco Travel phone number. Reactions from Costco members have been a mix of shock and sadness. One Redditor wrote , “My family was just pricing a trip to Disneyland on Saturday! This definitely changes things.” Another added , “That’s unfortunate. We used Costco Travel last June for Disneyland, and the Disney gift card paid for a couple of meals for us – it was a great deal.” “Well this just put a wrench in some future plans,” someone else added. While Costco hasn’t stated if this shift is temporary or permanent, a Disney trip isn’t totally off the table for members. Fortunately, Costco Travel is still offering deals for Adventures by Disney , AULANI — Disney Resort and Vacation Club , Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World Resort . Good Housekeeping reached out to Costco for a comment, and we’ll update this post if/when we hear back.
